Who we are

Lorewheel is made and sold by Media Yard LLC, PO Box 73, Pennsauken, NJ 08110, United States, a New Jersey limited liability company, which provides the games and the service. Write to us at that address. Help with orders and subscriptions is on the support page. These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey.

Playing is free

Every game, phone rooms, the Almanac and Lore Duels are free. Nothing here charges you unless you choose Pro, the organiser plan or a printed Yearbook.

Lorewheel Pro

Pro costs $7 a month or $54 a year, plus any tax that applies where you live, and is attached to one group's online Almanac. It renews automatically at the same price at the end of each period until it's cancelled. Anyone with the group link can cancel from the Pro page at any time; Pro then stays on until the end of the period already paid for, and it isn't charged again. We don't refund part-used periods, except where the law requires it. Deleting the group's Almanac cancels its Pro subscription at once. If we ever change the price, we'll say so on the Pro page before the next renewal it applies to.

Pro unlocks the Pro circles, printing the Yearbook, keeping Legacy Letter recordings with the group's online Almanac, and keeping that Almanac for as long as the group is subscribed. When Pro ends, those return to how they work without it: recordings already kept online stay with the Almanac, new ones stay on the device that made them, and the Almanac is kept for 18 months from its last use.

Rewards and the referral month

Milestones, the season goal and the Hall of Fame are worked out from your Almanac. Earned Yearbook covers are checked again when a book is ordered. A Lore Duel between a group that already existed and one created after the duel began gives both groups 30 days of Pro once both Almanacs are online and the duel is finished; a group is welcomed this way once, and a group earns at most three such months a year for inviting. A referral month isn't charged and doesn't renew. Cabin Cup matches don't count.

The organiser plan

For camps, schools, clubs and anyone running several groups. It costs $349 a year, plus any applicable tax, for up to 30 groups, renews yearly until cancelled from the organiser page, and gives every group the organisation created the same Pro described above; cancelling keeps it on until the end of the paid year. The organiser can pair groups in a Cabin Cup and order a Season Yearbook for every group — a book made from each group's lines for that year, which the organiser receives and can read. Anyone with the organiser link can manage the organisation and open any of its groups, so it belongs with the adults who run things. Deleting the organisation cancels its subscription; its groups keep their Almanacs without its Pro.

Printed Yearbooks and the PDF edition

The hardcover ($49, postage included, US addresses only) is made to order and printed and posted by Lulu. The PDF edition ($19, plus any applicable tax) is made as soon as payment clears. If we can't make your book, we refund it in full. If a hardcover arrives damaged or misprinted, write to us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and we'll reprint it or refund it.

Who you buy from, and tax

Pro, the organiser plan and the PDF edition are digital products sold through Link, Stripe's reseller service, which is the seller of record for those purchases. Link takes the payment, adds and pays any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you live (so the total at checkout can be more than the listed price), sends the receipt and invoice, and appears on your card statement as LINK.COM* LOREWHEEL. You can manage or cancel those subscriptions on the Pro or organiser page, or at link.com. Link's own terms apply to the payment, and Link may refund a purchase within 60 days in some cases.

The hardcover Yearbook is sold by Media Yard LLC directly, with Stripe processing the payment.

Prices are in US dollars; Link may show the equivalent in your currency. We never see or store card details.

No warranty

Lorewheel is a party game. We work to keep it running and your Almanac safe, but it is provided as is. Keep a copy of anything you can't bear to lose — the Almanac page can export it. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from Lorewheel is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
