What it feels like

Once upon a time, a couple practised their first dance in the kitchen for weeks, and on the night, nobody could tell who was leading. Tonight, two of you become that couple. Here's what you do. Stand face to face, an arm's length apart. In secret, one of you is told to lead, and the other to follow. For forty seconds, move slowly together, like a reflection, to the moment on the screen. Then everyone watching guesses who was leading. Spot the leader and you score. Fool most of the room, and the pair scores instead. Save the couple for last.

How to play

  1. Two of you face each other. In secret, one is told to lead and the other to follow.
  2. For forty seconds you move slowly, as if you were each other's reflection, around a theme like “making a cup of tea”.
  3. Everyone watching picks who was leading.

Scoring: 1 point for spotting the leader. If fewer than half the room spots them, the duet scores 2 each.

You'll get prompts like

Playing safely

Stand an arm's length apart with room around you. Move slowly, stay on your feet, and don't touch each other.
