You're dealt someone at the table in secret and write what you're grateful to them for. The room guesses who it's for.

What it feels like
Going round the table saying what you're grateful for can be awkward. So tonight, you write it instead, about someone you didn't choose. Here's how it works. Each of you is secretly given someone in the room, and writes them a few lines. The notes come up one at a time. Everyone guesses who each one is for, but never, ever, who wrote it. Then we reveal who it was for. Every right guess scores two points, and every note stays anonymous.
How to play

Scoring: 2 points for each right guess.
You'll get prompts like
- “Something {s} did this year that you're grateful for”
- “What this table would be missing without {s}”
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
