What it feels like
For one minute each, somebody at this table gets the floor, and everybody else gets to listen. Tonight, the birthday person goes first. Here's how it works. One person takes the floor at a time and answers three questions out loud. You can use the sixty-second timer if you like, and nobody has to write anything down. If someone says a line worth remembering, keep it in the Almanac. There are no scores tonight. It's just the room, listening.
