What it feels like
Somewhere in this room, somebody already knows the answer. They'll play along, ask questions, act surprised. First you find the word. Then... you find them.
How to play
- One of you is the Guide, and everyone knows it. The Guide and one secret Insider see the word. Everyone else doesn't.
- Four minutes: ask the Guide yes-or-no questions until someone says the word.
- The Insider helps the room get there — without looking like they know.
- Got it? Now find the Insider. Miss the word and everyone loses.
Scoring: Word found and the Insider caught: 2 for the Guide and every commoner. Word found but the Insider escapes: 3 for the Insider. Word missed: nobody scores.
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
