Spice Line
Food spectrums. Dinner-table arguments with a scoreboard.

- ~10 min
- 3–10 people
- One device, or phones
- Free
- Teens and up
What it feels like
Pineapple on pizza. Ketchup on eggs. How spicy is too spicy. Tonight, every dinner-table argument you've ever had gets a number... and finally, a scoreboard.
How to play
- Take a private turn each and place yourself from 0 to 10 on a spectrum.
- One at a time, the rest of the room agrees on where that person landed.
- Reveal the number, then ask them why.
Scoring: Exact scores 2 group points, and 2 for the person who was that easy to read. One off scores 1.
You'll get prompts like
- “Spice tolerance”
- “Pineapple on pizza”
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
