What it feels like
Tonight, you are the algorithm. One creator pitches three videos, ten seconds each. Before you vote, they secretly bet on which one you'll keep watching. Read the room right, and they win big. Get it wrong... and it's straight to the bottom of the feed.
How to play
- Each round, a creator gets three video ideas — like “my cat reviews my cooking” — and pitches each one in ten seconds.
- Then, in secret, the creator bets on the one the room will keep watching.
- Everyone else keeps one: on phones, or hands up as each is named. You are the algorithm.
Scoring: The creator scores 3 if their bet is the room's favourite. Everyone who kept the favourite scores 1.
You'll get prompts like
- “Rating every bench in the park”
- “My cat reviews my cooking”
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
