What it feels like
Welcome, founders. You've got real problems, strange talents, and a room full of investors with pretend money. Tonight, you'll pitch the product nobody asked for... and try to make them want it anyway.
How to play
- Take a private turn each: write down a small problem you have, and an odd talent or object you own.
- Teams are dealt one person's problem and another person's talent, with no names attached.
- Ninety seconds to plan, then each team pitches the product that uses the talent to solve the problem.
- Everyone invests their pretend $100 in one company — not their own.
Scoring: Each investment scores 2 for every member of the team that won it.
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
