What it feels like
You've got three seconds. That's all. Three seconds before your audience scrolls right past you. Everyone gets the same boring topic, and everyone writes the opening line that makes the room stop and watch. No names. Just hooks. Keep watching... or scroll?
How to play
- Everyone gets the same three boring video topics, like “how I load the dishwasher”. In a private turn, write the first line you'd say to camera — the one that stops people scrolling.
- Each round, every opening line comes up with no names. Read them aloud like the first three seconds of a video.
- Everyone picks the one they'd keep watching — never your own — on a phone, or hands up as each one is read.
Scoring: 1 point for every person who keeps watching yours. Three topics.
You'll get prompts like
- “How I load the dishwasher”
- “My sock drawer”
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
