Fishbowl
Everyone writes three names. Round one, describe them. Round two, one word. Round three, act it out.

What it feels like
Everybody writes three names into the bowl. Then comes round one: describe them. Round two: one word only. And round three: act them out. Same names, all night, getting harder every time.
How to play
- Take a private turn each: write three names everyone here would know — people, characters, places, things. Keep them secret.
- Split into two teams. Each turn, one person has 40 seconds to get their team guessing as many names as they can.
- Round 1: describe. Round 2: one word only. Round 3: act it out. The same names come back every round.
- The laughs come from the in-jokes you build along the way.
Scoring: 1 point for every name your team guesses. With three players, the guesser and the describer both score.
Playing safely
Play safe: stay in your seat or spot and mime in place — no real climbing, lifting or wrestling. Keep voices at a comfortable volume. No props that are sharp, hot, heavy or breakable.
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
