What it feels like

The Magpie Files. The final case. Reims, nineteen twenty-seven. Deep underground, in cellars carved from chalk, the candles are lit and the champagne is cold. Tonight, everyone wears a blindfold. For three minutes, nobody can see a thing. And when the blindfolds come off... we find out who the Magpie really is.

How to play

  1. The story comes in four parts. Each is read out loud by someone different — everyone else just listens.
  2. Between parts, the screen gives the table something to argue about. Every clue you need is in the story.
  3. At the end, everyone accuses in private: who the Magpie is, and where the diamond is now.
  4. Then the solution is read out, with every clue and where it was hiding.

Scoring: 3 points for unmasking the Magpie, 2 for finding the diamond.
