What it feels like
Everyone here has a history. Jobs, skills, strange little side quests. Tonight, one line on every résumé is invented. Read carefully. The most believable lie usually has the most detail.
How to play
- Take a private turn each: write two true things and one fake on the theme, then mark the fake.
- Each person's three are read out. Argue about them, then pick the fake.
- Reveal the fake.
Scoring: 2 points for spotting a fake. Fool more than half the room and you score 3.
You'll get prompts like
- “Jobs you've had”
- “Skills you have”
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
