Station Harrow

Six months in orbit, a shuttle home tomorrow, and a docking code changed in the night by someone who never opened the door. Read it aloud, then accuse someone — in secret.

What it feels like

Two hundred and fifty miles above the Earth, five people have waited six months to go home. Tomorrow, the shuttle arrives. But in the middle of the night, while the station sleeps, someone changes the docking code... and nobody opened the door to do it. Out here, every machine keeps a record. Listen to what they say.

How to play

  1. The story comes in four parts. Each is read out loud by someone different — everyone else just listens.
  2. Between parts, the screen gives the table something to argue about. Every clue you need is in the story.
  3. At the end, everyone accuses in private: who locked the shuttle out, and how they did it.
  4. Then the solution is read out, with every clue and where it was hiding.

Scoring: 3 points for naming who did it, 2 for saying how.

What you need

3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
