What it feels like
Tonight, everyone takes a turn in the chair. No points. No winners. The people around you will tell you, out loud, exactly what they see in you. Take your time. Listen. There you are.
How to play
- One person at a time is in the chair. The screen gives the room a prompt about them.
- Everyone else, in turn, answers it out loud, to their face. Specific beats nice: a real moment, a real habit.
- Then the person in the chair can write down the one line they want to keep, for the group's Almanac.
- Pass whenever nothing comes. Nobody loses.
Scoring: No points and no winner — everyone takes a turn in the chair.
You'll get prompts like
- “When have you felt most seen by this person?”
- “What are they better at than they give themselves credit for?”
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
