What it feels like
Tell me you're a dentist... without telling me you're a dentist. That's the whole game. You'll get a secret. Say one sentence that gives it away without saying it. Too obvious, and everyone gets it. Too clever, and nobody does.
How to play
- On your turn you get a secret, like “a dentist” or “someone who has never been camping”.
- Say one sentence that gives it away without saying it — no words from your card.
- The room picks what you are from four choices, on phones or out loud.
Scoring: 2 points for everyone who gets it. You score 1 for each of them — so be clear, but not too clear.
You'll get prompts like
- “a dentist”
- “a teacher on the last day of term”
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
