What it feels like
The clues are hidden. The teams are ready. Read the riddle, find the card, crack the code, and keep moving. Somewhere out there is the last clue... and only one team gets there first.
How to play
- Choose where you're playing. Lorewheel makes a set of clue cards, each with a code word.
- Print them (or copy the list onto paper), and one person hides each card at the spot on its fold-under strip.
- Teams race: solve your riddle, find that card, and type its code on this screen to unlock your next riddle.
- Stuck? A hint names the spot, but adds 30 seconds to your time.
Scoring: The fastest team scores 5 each, then 3, 2 and 1. Hints add 30 seconds.
Playing safely
Play safe: walk, don't run, and walk on stairs. Nothing sharp, hot, heavy, breakable or alive — and nothing that isn't yours to borrow.
What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
