What it feels like
Two people. One mirror. Face each other and move, slowly, as if you were each other's reflection. One of you is secretly leading. The other follows. If you're good enough, nobody watching will be able to tell which is which.
How to play
- Two of you face each other. In secret, one is told to lead and the other to follow.
- For forty seconds you move slowly, as if you were each other's reflection, around a theme like “making a cup of tea”.
- Everyone watching picks who was leading.
Scoring: 1 point for spotting the leader. If fewer than half the room spots them, the duet scores 2 each.
You'll get prompts like
- “Getting ready in the morning”
- “Washing a big window”
Playing safely
Stand an arm's length apart with room around you. Move slowly, stay on your feet, and don't touch each other.
What you need
4 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
