What it feels like

There once was a goose who wanted to get to the other side. And then the next other side. Here's how it works. Up hops forward, left and right step sideways. The roads never end, and the cars never stop. Each of you gets one goose, and the goose that gets furthest wins.

How to play

  1. Pass the remote round the room. Each of you gets one run of up to 90 seconds.
  2. Up or OK hops forward a row. Left and right step sideways; down steps back.
  3. Roads and grass go on for ever. A car hits you and the run is over.

Scoring: One point for every row you reach. The furthest goose wins.

What you need

1 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
