What it feels like
Ladies and gentlemen, a jar full of jewels and ninety seconds to empty it. Here's how it works. Move the frame with the arrows. Press OK to pick a gem up, then an arrow to swap it with its neighbour. Line up three of a kind and they vanish, and the rest come tumbling down. Chains score extra. Pass the remote, and the richest jar wins.
How to play
- Pass the remote round the room. Each of you gets 90 seconds.
- Arrows move the frame. OK picks a gem up; an arrow then swaps it with the gem next to it.
- A swap only counts if it lines up three or more of one kind, in a row or a column. They clear, the rest fall, and new ones drop in.
Scoring: 10 points a gem cleared, multiplied when a fall makes another line by itself. The richest jar wins.
What you need
1 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
