What it feels like

They say that on Halloween night, the monsters dance until the music stops. And then they freeze, so nobody knows they were ever there. Here's what you do. While the music plays, everyone dances in their own spot, with no running about. When it stops, the screen shouts how to freeze and you hold that pose for five seconds. Then the room points at the best statue. The room's favourite statue scores two points each round, and there are six rounds in all.

How to play

Scoring: 2 points for the room's favourite statue each round. Six rounds.

Playing safely

Dance in your own spot with room around you. No jumping off furniture, and keep the volume comfortable.

What you need

3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
