What it feels like
A little phrase sets off on a long journey. It becomes a drawing, then a guess, then a drawing of the guess, all the way round the room. Where will it end up? Nobody knows. That's the joy.
How to play
- The first person gets a secret phrase and draws it — no words or letters.
- The next person sees only the drawing, and writes what they think it is.
- The next draws that, the next describes the drawing, all the way round the room.
- At the end, the whole chain is revealed. The room picks its favourite moment.
Scoring: 2 points for the drawing or guess the room picks as its favourite.
You'll get prompts like
- “A cat running a bakery”

What you need
3 to 10 people and one phone, tablet or laptop to pass around — or everyone on their own phone in a room. Nothing to download, no accounts. The best lines can be sealed into your group's Almanac and come back in later games.
